MOVE FAMILY 2018
In MOVE Copenhagen, we love movement and play across generations. We believe that through movement and play we can meet each other in new ways and create presence and contact. Therefore we have made MOVE Family – a two-day festival for children and their adults.
So dear adults; do you have a daughter, a nephew, a grandson or a cousin, then take them along and join MOVE.
And dear children; if you have a fun uncle, a mother, an aunt, a cool grandmother or neighbor, then do the same.
We have created a program where we will try a lot of exciting forms of movement together:
PARKOUR * DANCE * SLACKLINE* ACROYOGA* MARTIAL ARTS
The festival will be held on Refshaleøen on the 13th and 14th of July 2018, and is part of MOVE Copenhagen.
Basic ticket: 95 € (695 kr).
The basic ticket is a 2-day ticket that applies to one adult together with one child (6-13 years)
“Extra adult” or “Extra child”: 27 € (200 kr).
This ticket can be purchased and is also valid on both days.
We look forward to welcoming you to the family.
Move Family invites children and adults to 2 full days of play and movement. Move Family takes place on the 133h and the 14th of July, as an integrated part of Move Copenhagen Festival. Move Family offers customized children friendly workshops in disciplines such as parkour, dance, slackline and acroyoga. In between the workshops, there will be space to play, swim, massage, sing and relax. In order to ensure a high quality, the maximum number of participants is 50. Workshop activities will take place between 9:00 and 18:30. For more detailed information you can have a look at the program.

Move Family aims to inspire different generations to move and play together in everyday life. We believe that through movement and play we can meet each other in new ways and enter a space of joy and presence.
This year, Move Family combines a custom-made Move Family program with the overall program at the festival, inviting Move Family participants to a number of the ordinary Move Copenhagen workshops. You don’t need any special skills. Come as you are. The workshops are accessible for all levels! All workshops will be taught in Danish or English, but our team is ready to translate from one language to the other – if necessary. Together we will make it work.
At Move Family we expect both children and adults to take part equally together. Minimum age for children to participate is 7 years. 14 years of age and older are recommended to participate in the normal Move Copenhagen program. At Move Family you will be a part of Move Copenhagen with several hundreds of other curious and welcoming movers and a strong team of teachers and volunteers with diverse backgrounds as professional and passionate movers. This is a great opportunity to connect, exchange, share and just meet new friends.
Meal tickets for children and adults, and must be bought on forehand. You are also very welcome to bring your own picnic with you!
Move Family participants are very welcome to pitch their tents on the festival site, like many of the international participants who choose to sleep at the festival in tents. Basic toilets and showers are available.
A Move Family ticket is valid for both days, and gives access to Move Family for one adult plus one child. One-day tickets are not available.
