Why do you move?
“I move because I find stillness in motion.”
Emily was born in Canada but has been traveling the globe sharing movement and mind body practices for several years. From Yoga junkie to acro junkie, slacklining was a natural progression, playing in parks was already a favorite pastime. Emily learned basics from friends and taught herself before stepping up her practice by training with the ‘YogaSlackers’ who are known for yoga poses and smooth slow flows on a very lightly tensioned line. Her pursuit of the physical is driven by the deeper transformation of fears and self, that happen as one’s practices go deeper.
Emily’s passion for movement and body awareness coupled with her strong background in anatomy manifests in her teachings as clear, precise, thoughtful instruction. Emily runs her own Yin Yoga as well as Partner Acrobatics Teacher Trainings. She continues to play, laugh, study, travel and teach wherever else she may find herself.
